    Police are hunting the driver of a stolen car who they shot at before he sped away, apparently wounded, in outer Melbourne on Thursday.Police opened fire on the stolen ute after it rammed their patrol car in Elgin Street, Berwick about 4.30pm.Hospitals are on alert.
